IMCA holds sanctioned events in 36 states and one Canadian province. Since 2000, there have been 884 different drivers to have earned 1,379 state titles.

E3 Spark Plugs has announced the company’s title sponsorship for the 20th season of the International Motor Contest Association’s (IMCA) State Champions Program. The sponsorship will provide product awards, i.e. sets of E3 Racing spark plugs as well as other products to the state championship drivers for all eight IMCA divisions. In addition to the title sponsorship program, E3 also was named the Official Spark Plug of IMCA. Advertisement“This program allows us to take a national approach to supporting racers in every IMCA division in most every state,” said E3 Vice President of Motorsports Rob Fisher. “And with this program focusing on eight different divisions, we are really hitting a large cross-section of the dirt oval track racer. The storied history of the IMCA and their stature as one of the leading dirt sanctions in the country make this program the perfect avenue for tapping into that crucial grassroots market. It really fills a void we had in our motorsports marketing programs.”  Sets of eight E3 Racing spark plugs will go to each IMCA Modified, IMCA Late Model, IMCA Race Saver Sprint Car, IMCA Sunoco Stock Car, IMCA Sunoco Hobby Stock, Karl Chevrolet Northern SportMod and Smiley’s Racing Products Southern SportMod state champion. Mach-1 Sport Compact state champions will earn sets of four E3 Racing spark plugs. E3 also will give DiamondFIRE 6CDI ignition boxes to the Super Nationals Race of Champions winners in the Modified and Stock Car Divisions, where the box is currently legal for competition.Advertisement IMCA holds sanctioned events in 36 states and one Canadian province.
